4Great intercom!
By Docrenatoms
At last I can communicate with my wife while we enjoy our motorcycle and listen to my podcasts or musics while I go to work. This product has everything that I expected:
- long life battery;
- waterproof;
- great audio quality, at least until 75 mph (I think it may be good as well beyond this speed with the other foam for the microphone - my helmet isn't very silent as well);
- integration with MP3 player;
- technology to receive, initiate and reject calls by voice control;
- full duplex;
- adjusts its own volume based on ambient noise;
- easy self-installation, despite I spent much more than the 5 minutes in the box;
- etc. (so many qualities).

But it isn't just flowers:
- the speakers become a little uncomfortable for me after some minutes (maybe because my helmet doesn't have an appropriate space for it - in my wife's helmet it fits perfectly - maybe I should dig a space for it in the helmet's foam);
- t he FM radio is awful (poor reception).

5Best Product Ever!
By Nascar88girl
I bought this for my husband for X-mas and we absolutely Love it. We both have modular helmets so the sound is great. Easy to setup, great reception, great battery life. We've taken several trips that were 8+ hours and they never stopped working. It's so nice to travel on our bike and be able to communicate. I cannot even imagine not using them. It makes rides much more enjoyable having a great reliable product like this. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again if anything were to happen to ours. A few times we got into rain and it had no effect on these whatsoever. Don't hesitate to purchase, you won't be sorry. You'll only ask why you didn't buy these sooner!

1Terrible product line
By Saraprop
This is a terrible product. Regardless of what the Cardo Systems advertising says, pairing the Scala rider Q2 with more than one device is basically impossible. So, based on priority, I paired my GPS, manually connected my ipod via the cord and gave up pairing my phone. I have 3 bluetooth devices and can only pair one. Very disappointing. A bigger problem is that YOU CANNOT HEAR ANYTHING except possibly music from an iPod or similar device. The only way to actually hear my GPS (Garmin Zumo 350LM top-of-the-line) is to connect my Apple earbuds directly to it. So, Bluetooth is useless, and, more disturbingly, the Scala Rider earpieces are basically useless.
Let's summarize.....I purchased the Scala Rider Q2 to Bluetooth with GPS, iPod and cell phone. I can only Bluetooth with one of these. Take your pick. And, regardless of what I actually pair with, the sound quality (especially with GPS) is so poor as to be useless. In order to really, truly hear my devices I need to attach ear buds and stick them in my ear. So, basically, the Scala Rider system is USELESS to me (I ride alone so I don't know what it is like pairing with another rider using the 2nd unit. If you Google it, you will find that many people have a problem with that feature too!). So, guess what, I am removing the thing from my helmet and will be using earbuds from now on. Total waste of money.
