Yes, it really works well

I had my doubts as to whether a bluetooth passenger to rider headset would work, this one does and does very well. I have ridden many many years with shouting as the only communication method, and it worked well. But in this eara where not only helmets but full face hemets are common and in some cases required the 'old school' shouting method was in need of a review and update.
I bought the Cardo unit a bit on impulse but as soon as I charged up the units and installed the mics and earphones we took it out for a test ride. It worked great.
I can't comment on the cell phone functionality, I'm not yet ready to think about using a cell phone on a motorcycle, I only rarely use it in car. And I have not used the iPod with it yet so I'll add that later. I can say that as an intercom from rider to passenger it works just like being on the phone, it's clear and even at 75mph on the freeway on a Harley with a nice exhaust drone it was very easy for us to hear each o ther.
If you are in the market for a unit like this I would recommend giving this one a try. Be foreward however it will change the dymanics of your ride :-)

Up to 90 Km/hr you can hear preaty well; but at 120 Km/hr you can hear 70%
Maybe the helmets make to much noise.
